CNA Journalist Praises ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Cambodia

PHNOM PENH: Channel News Asia correspondent Leong Wai Kit wrote a letter of thanks to the Cambodian Media Coordinating Team for facilitating and welcoming him not only when he got off the plane, but also until the end of his mission.

In a letter of Thanks, Mr Leong Wai Kit observed the attention of the Cambodian team in the preparation of administrative procedures, order, response and food preparation. He thanked them for their attention and as a gesture that helped strengthen the relationship between Singapore and Cambodia.

"The last few days, these efforts by your team did not go unnoticed." he wrote. More important, these efforts have not only helped us do our job well but also helped cement the friendship between Singapore and Cambodia. "I am glad to be a part of the much-celebrated ASEAN Friendship and Unity held through our interactions and I look forward to building more of such bridges through my future work in Cambodia."
